Our Story
We're a family practice made up of a Mother, Father and Daughter team.
Warwick has been practicing Chinese Medicine for nover 30 years offering Acupuncture and Qigong in Wantirna, Ringwood, Glen Waverley, Mulgrave and currently Lysterfield South. He also, once a week, offers acupuncture in Melbourne at his daughters clinic Balance Point Acupuncture, St Kilda Rd, Melbourne.
Therese, our daughter has returned from living in the UK (Scotland) and has been studying/practicing Chinese Medicine since she was 17 years old. She was in fact, raised on its concepts and was famous at school if she scuffed her knees, she would refuse the nurse's Dettol and instead pull out a vial of cuttlefish powder to soothe the wound! Graduating in 2005 with a bachelor of Chinese medicine, Therese has been offering acupuncture, Qigong and yang sheng lifestyle advice for over 15 years.
Aine is an Holistic Counsellor and Mindfulness/Meditation teacher who hails originally from Dublin, Ireland. She has also studied Theology, Cultural Anthropology and Buddhism, having spent a year at Gampo Abbey in Nova Scotia in her forties. Resigning from a Corporate career in her mid-thirties, she worked at The Gawler Foundation and sought a psycho-spiritual/holistic approach to the healing of a major health condition more than twenty years ago.

Warwick Poon
Acupuncture Etc
Warwick Poon has been practicing Chinese Medicine for nearly 30 years having qualified here in Melbourne, as an acupuncturist in 1989, and achieving a Masters degree in 2005. Born in NSW, he came to Melbourne to study Hapkido and was encouraged by his master to balance the ability to hurt someone in self-defence, with learning to heal them.
His style is traditional and minimalist in that he rarely uses more than 3 or 4 needles per treatment and he prefers to use foot/leg, hand/arm and head points, thus undressing is seldom required. He is the author of Understanding Your Life - A Patients's Guide to Chinese Medicine. Nowadays most people realise the broad application of acupuncture to help with a wide spectrum of conditions, too numerous to list here. The best way to find out if Warwick can help your condition, is to call or text him on the number below.
